What size projects does PRC Builders take on?
We're built for substantial work: ground-up new construction, commercial build-outs, additions, whole-home remodels, and complete exterior packages (roofing, siding, gutters). We're not a handyman service — if your project needs permits, plans, and a crew, that's our lane.
Are you licensed for new home construction?
Yes. PRC Builders holds Connecticut New Home Construction Contractor license NHC.0016349 and Home Improvement Contractor license HIC.0661478, and carries $2M in liability coverage. All three of our state licenses can be verified at elicense.ct.gov.
Do you handle plans, permits, and inspections?
We manage the full process — design coordination, engineering, permitting, inspections, and every trade on site. You get one contract, one schedule, and one point of contact from foundation to finish.
Do you do demolition?
Yes — through our dedicated division, PRC Demolition (prcdemo.com). We hold a CT Class B demolition license (DMCR.003450) for full-scale residential and commercial demo, which also means teardown-and-rebuild projects stay under one roof.
Who will I actually be dealing with?
Pat — the owner. He runs every project with W-2 crews, not layers of subcontractors and salespeople. If he's on a site when you call, you'll hear back within two hours.
